Project Brief The proposed airport is located 24 km from the centre of Kielce, in the area of Obice in Morawica Commune (Gmina) and also Grabowiec in Chmielnik Commune (Gmina).
Airport category – civil, international; Aerodrome Reference Code – 4 D; Project Capacity (pass./annum) – from 0.5 million initially to an eventual 4.5 million; area – approx. 500 ha; runway – 2800 m length.
